IEEE SeFet 2026 — the sixth edition of the conference on Sustainable Energy and Future Electric Transportation — is a four-day, 456-presentation technical conference hosted by VNIT Nagpur. The whole thing — event site, attendee app and programme — runs white-labelled on Eventira, and anyone can browse it without an account.

How 456 presentations broke down

Every paper, oral or poster, lived as its own bookmarkable session nested under its parent block — so a paper track sits inside its session rather than flattening the main agenda.

The 153 posters ran across 12 poster-session blocks — four rounds of concurrent A/B tracks, each paired with a high-tea slot so the poster halls doubled as networking breaks.

Public app, personal programme

The app was linked straight off the conference website. Anyone could browse the full 456-session schedule with no account, and nothing gated content, prompted a signup, or incentivised coming back. Attendees who built a personal programme did so because they wanted one.

Two things in the data we found worth noting:

The personal-programme view — where an attendee keeps their own shortlist of sessions — was opened 124 times over the four days. Nothing in the app asked anyone to use it.

The most active attendee, a research scholar, came back 12 times across the conference and bookmarked 20 sessions, building an entire itinerary from the battery, EV-charging and microgrid tracks. The most-bookmarked session was a special session on PV-integrated microgrid protection.

The conference’s own faculty ran the app — not a separate operations team. Through a busy run-up week, organisers pushed last-minute programme changes into the platform themselves. That shows in how the account was set up: organiser access sat with the conference committee and the special-session organisers themselves.
